“I know a lot of people say that on their wedding day they married their best friend, but I can honestly say that that is exactly what we did. We met when we were at school, and from the age of 16 were always very close. This raised a lot of questions about our friendship, including some from ex’s but for both of us it was never even a thought. I moved away to Glasgow for university but we stayed really tight. One drunken night in Rain when I was home Easter break, everything changed. After a few months of secrecy and some long discussions of “are we really doing this?” we decided that this was it. Fast forward 8 years and we are now happily married and very glad we took the risk. "
